How to Change Your Image Positioning

Learn how to adjust the alignment and placement of images in your Yay! Forms form layout to ensure your design looks exactly the way you want.

After inserting an image into your form, you can adjust how and where it will be displayed to users. This customization allows you to create more attractive layouts aligned with the form’s objective, whether highlighting your brand logo, positioning an illustration next to the content, or applying an image as a background to reinforce visual identity.

Before you start

Initially, it is necessary to insert an image of your choice. After that, in the right sidebar of the question, you will find several layout options, which will be explained below.

Layout options

  1. You will have the option to set the image as the background of your form, as exemplified below.

  1. You will have the option to position your image to the left or right of your form content, as illustrated in the following example.

  1. You will have the option to split the form content with the image. In this scenario, you can choose to split the image on the left side or the right side, as shown in the example below.

  1. You will have the option to overlay the image on top of your form content. You can choose the height (as a percentage of the screen) and the width (in pixels), as shown in the examples below.

  1. Finally, you will have the option to position the image in the center of your form content. In this case, you can also choose the height (as a percentage of the screen) and the width (in pixels), as exemplified in the examples below.

  1. Split top (Mobile only) — splits the screen with the image on top and content below, with fixed height. This layout is exclusive to Mobile mode and was designed for vertical screens. You can enable it by opening the Mobile tab above the canvas and choosing the “Split top” icon in the layout sidebar.
